The objectives of this study were to review the literature on alternatives to traditional treatment of acute mental disorders and to describe the effects of these interventions. The main emphasis is on crisis resolution teams CRT because there psykisk helsevernloven governmental plans to implement these in all Norwegian community mental health centres.
This study investigated if the guidance had any impact on the collaboration between services. Clinical and diagnostic evaluations were conducted as usual, according to the ICD The results showed that psykisk helsevernloven of symptomatic distress and interpersonal problems predicted more of the variance in self-esteem psykisk helsevernloven psychiatric diagnosis.
The study highlights the experiences and challenges employees from the first and second line services experience in relation to giving patients sentenced to compulsory mental health care good service.
